MYX, the country's No. 1 music authority, will celebrate its 10 years of love, 10 years of fun and 10 years of great music. The show entitled "I Love MYX" will happen this November 18 at SM Mall Of Asia Concert Grounds. More surprises await its fans. MYX will present foreign music and contemporary Filipino music. MYX had provided hottest music here in the country with videos of all genres from other nations. MYX merged with Vid-Ok karaoke channel to turn into 24/7 cable network in 2002. MYX started with test broadcasts on Studio 23 in November of the new millennium. After two months, it had a full music block on the same UHF channel, playing music for a more sophisticated crowd. It captivated the hearts of Filipino music lovers of all ages and became the No. 1 music authority in the Philippines. You can simply sing along with their favorite tunes because the lyrics is already on the music video.

With a theme "The Love for Alma Mater," University of the Philippines Alumni Association (UPAA), headed by Behn Cervantes, committee chairman and vice president of UPAA, has called all music composers for its new anthem through a nationwide contest.
