After a successful Christmas concert and the release of her certified platinum Christmas album, bossa nova diva Sitti Navarro, best known for her soothing voice and captivating charm, still can’t get over gushing over her very successful 2008. Aside from the certified platinum album, Sitti also has a string of best-selling albums like Café Bossa, Sitti Live, Sitti In the Mix, and My Bossa Nova that captured the Filipinos’ interest in the bossa nova genre. Her Café Bossa led to the surge of bossa nova CDs and bossa-inspired OPM songs. |

March 7, 2009, this is the date to be marked for the much awaited second reunion concert of the most successful and revolutionary band in the history of original Pinoy music-Eraserheads. The concert, which will be supporting by MTV Philippines and Smart Communications at SM Mall of Asia Concert Ground, is tentatively named, Final Set since it is considered as the continuation of last years' reunion concert, which was cut when Ely was rushed to the hospital. |

Diane Ventura, Ely’s longtime partner and manager, told Startalk last December 27 that the iconic singer-song writer is doing well and good observed by his doctors. Elys health has always been a source of concern to the public. Despite of previous announcements in the past, he is now assuring everyone that he is healthy following another angioplasty procedure last August. Four months after their reunion concert, the doctors told Ely that he’s fully recovered and nothing to worry about. |
