Duster just released their 14-track debut album, "Sweetheart Snackbar", under Sony Music Philippines. The four-woman band is composed of Myrene on the bass synch, Kris on guitars, Katwo on vocals and new comer Ritalle Bautista on drums.

The band’s name is named after the quintessential clothing worn by Filipinas because it is a nice takes on something traditional and something widely accepted by a lot of Filipinos.

In cooperation with MYX (the official music channel), Eastwood City, SM Supermalls, the Revolution Denim, Magic 89.9 and pep.ph, things will get hot this summer as Sony Music and PLDT My DSL launch Summer MusiKaraBand last April 17, 8pm at the Eastwood Central Plaza.

Summer MusiKaraBand is a musical road show featuring the label’s top notch and up and coming bands. This event will bannered by the country's most popular bands like, Pupil, 6cyclemind, Callalily, Cueshe, Itchyworms and Moonstar88. It will also include three of Sony Music’s new addition of amazing talents-band competition champion Letter Day Story, alternative/acoustic band Roots of Nature and all-girl band Duster. Thse promising acts are currently burning the airwaves and music video channels with their singles.

Pia Magalona gladly announced on Startalk last April 4 that Francis M and Ely Buendia's "The Sickos project" would push through this year.

Last year, due to Francis M's health, the release date of the album was pushed to a later date.

The dream project called The Sickos Project was originally planned to have 12 tracks in the album with six songs each from their respective bands. Before Francis died, he had already completed the songs, but Pia was able to find another material from her late husband.
