The Philippine Association of the Record Industry (PARI) gave out this year's Dangal ng Musikang Pilipino Award to Ms. Lea Salonga. The honor was officially bestowed last November 26 at 21st Awit Awards held at the Eastwood Central Plaza in Libis, Quezon City. This award was instituted by PARI to honor local artists who have bought honor to the country by making a mark here and abroad. And this is perfectly suited for Lea Salonga for her remarkable achievements particularly in the field of musical theater. |
