Ramiele, a 20-year-old Filipino-American singing object of excited interest from Miramar, Florida, has been selected to the final 24 of the highest-rating show in the U.S. behind the Super Bowl and the Academy Awards. To read the state of being the first singer of Asian ancestry to become American Idol is the dream of Ramiele. In the third season of American Idol in 2004, the goal of Ramiele was very nearly accomplished by Jasmin Trias of Hawaii, a Filipino-American who got the third place.Forming an opinion after careful consideration from the introductory reviews of the first presentation of the twelve finalists on the women's side, Ramiele's goal is close to actual existence. A thing of any kind is not impossible provided that the victors are selected through a telephone poll that counts votes done to a toll number in the U.S. Ramiele's idols that are belonging to herself are black American diva Aretha Franklin and homegrown Filipina talents such as Lani Misalucha and Regine Velasquez. As a proof, Ramiele Malubay performed a shortened version of one of signature songs of Aretha Franklin, the anthemic A Natural Woman, as well as Narito Ako of Regine Velasquez. Ramiele Malubay must strive to be better than Jasmine Trias. AS Jasmine got the third position of American idol in 2004, we wish Ramiele Malubay either the winner or the first runner-up of American Idol in 2008. [Via Manila Standard Today] |
