Last February 18, Viva records launched its new recording artist, Martha Joy.Martha Joy, an 18-year-old, with a Eurasian descent, half-Filipino, Half-Portuguese, an only child, born and raised at Toronto, Canada. The album, which soon will be launched at SOP, is produced by Christian de Walden of Hollywood, who is also the producer of other Filipino talents. She enjoys traditional R&B/Pop Music, but her heart is truly drawn to sing classical songs with soaring melodies that mesmerized the audience. Matha Joy was discovered by Pilita Corales on her concert in Toronto in 2004. Pilita convinced her and her mom to go home in the Philippines, where she started to have an album at Viva Records plus a contract of three years.
