Sarah Marie Young, a Filipino-American singer, is gradually gaining a following in the jazz music scene in Chicago.What makes her unique edge over other jazz singers in the area is simply her being a Filipino. Filipinos really make a difference. Unlike others, Young also does country, R&B, funk, gospel, rock and pop. Young's entry in the scene is really dynamite. Tims Fitzgerald, professional jazz musician, said that she is very comfortable and rhythmically so strong.
