Zendryll Lagrana, 15, a Filipina teenager who was born in Tarlac and was living in Milan for 5 years. She proves that she too can carve a name for herself in the music scene in Italy where she won in Io Canto O I Sing Music Search. She can sing songs in Italian, English, and OPM.She followed the footsteps of the Filipino icons Charice Pempengco and Sarah Geronimo. She started the distinction after making it to the grand finals of the Io Canto O I Sing Music Search. The finals happened last March 20. You can watch her singing ability on YouTube. The biggest break for the young singer was when she had a duet with Alessandra Amoroso, an Italian singing superstar. The story of her singing career started when she passed the audition for a popular television animation series but the role was not given to her because she was underage. Then she was accepted in the Io Canto O I Sing Music Search. She'll be competing with 2 talented teenage Italian boys but Lagrana wishes to get the support of fellow Filipinos in Italy. The decision for the grand winner will came from the judges and text voters. The grand winner will receive a music scholarship grant from veteran composer and music arranger, David Foster.
