Basil Valdez, Vernie Varga, Joey Albert, Gino Padilla, Charlie Green and the Company (known as the powerhouse cast) are performing together for the first time in OPM Through the Years. The concert was produced by Viva Concerts and Events and sponsored by Mang Inasal. It will happen at the SMX, Mall of Asia on Saturday, July 17. The show will present the best of Filipino music from Basil’s breakthrough recording of Geoge Canseco's Ngayon at Kailanman in 1978 to Charlie's hit cover of the Hot Dog's Pers Lab this year. Roxanne Lapus will direct the prestigious show together with Egay Gonzales as the musical director. OPM fans will be witnessing the best songs of the past 30 years and the great performance of amazing talents.OPM Through the Years is a commemoration of Filipino music that no music lover should miss. Tickets will cost P2750, P2000 and P1000.
