PULP Magazine's September issue celebrates modern rock of two bands which are currently being called as the most exciting outfits in the present music scene.
The first band is the all-female rock group General Luna which is composed of femme fatales: Vocalist Nicole Asensio (who formerly fronted rock outfit Crowjane); guitarist Caren Mangaran (a shredder who also plays in power metal group Sanctus); guitarist Audry Dionisio; bassist Alexis Montemayor; and drummer Bea Lao, who has pounded the skins for Pinoy rock legend Wally Gonzales. They are committed to make rock 'n roll a ladies' game once again.
PULP staff writer Karen Sy said "don't dismiss them as a cute outfit just yet... listen in and hear how they transform your ears into mashed rice". Chicosci, modern rock darlings, grace the cover of PULP wherein they visited a city as part of the Tanduay First Five collective. Join contributor/longtime Chicosci fan Niche Dumlao as he records a day in road of this extremely victorious band. Ask questions to personally know Miggy, Mong, Calde, Ariel and Macoy. Jason Caballa, PULP music editor writes about Salamin. Salamin is set to play with the big boys rock 'n roll, having recently released an EP and their first official music video. The Soapdish is the band with radio hit Parang Si Ely Buendia. Soapdish wants to make a significant mark with or without the intemperance that comes along with being in a band. PULP editor-in-chief Joey Dizon reveals the feelings and inspirations which keep on the pop rock band going. Dizon finds that music is interesting and can make one’s life a lullaby than just being rich and popular. PULP September issue is guaranteed to be filled with most reliable music reviews, thought-provoking columns from music personalities, and hottest acts and events in the country.
